Automatically hide Dateline like the OS X Dock

Dateline is a fantastic program which I've had the full license of for a while now, but it can be a bit cumbersome on smaller screens where we need as much screen space as possible. I would love to see a feature where, similarly to the OS X hidden Dock feature, DateLine would slide out of the screen when not in usage, and slide back when the mouse hovered over the proper area.

    Hi Mithrandir,

This feature will be included in DateLine 2, due in the next couple of months.

    Thanks for your request!

  • Hi, I’ve just bought this but I knew I wanted this feature before I purchased.
What I would like to see though is an option to have this work the same as the dock in Lion full screen apps.
That is, don’t pop up immediately on mouse reaching screen edge (annoyingly too easy on my small screen) but require an additional “push” to activate.
As I have become more accustomed to 10.7 I find this behaviour preferable. It never gets in the way and is still very easy to access. In fact I wish Apple would introduce it for the menubar and standard desktop.
Perhaps as an option in preferences?

PS. On re-reading the above I may have misunderstood. I think I may be requesting the reverse of the previously requested behaviour? Still, perhaps an option in prefs?
