"Next 7 days" option for events window

Would it be possible to have a customisable events window? I would like to see all my events for the upcoming 7 days rather than flicking through one day at a time. It could be customisable for whatever number of days you want, depending on how busy your calendar is. It might also be cool to have an option to have this pinned at the desktop level with customisable fonts/colours etc (so not in a pop-up window at all).
